Top Ranked Grilled Cheese

Tender slices of ham entangled with melted pepper jack cheese and ribbons of sautéed onions and peppers all stuffed between buttery brioche bread. This delicious grilled cheese recipe is sure to be a hit!

Ham lunchmeat, from the deli, sliced

1 cup

Yellow onion, sliced

1 cup

Green bell pepper, sliced

1/4 cup

Spicy mustard, prepared

1 cup

Pepper jack cheese, shredded

16 slices

Sourdough bread, buttered


  1. Place onions and peppers and a well-oiled sauté pan and cook until tender, set aside.

  2. Place slices of bread open-faced on a clean work surface. Evenly spread mustard on bottom slice of bread; layer with ham, sautéed vegetables and cheese.

  3. Top with remaining bread slices and place into a well-oiled sauté pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until the cheese has melted and bread is golden brown.
