Open Faced Chicken Caprese Sandwich
This Italian-inspired, open faced chicken caprese sandwich is an easy-to-make recipe with pesto and chicken tenders from the deli!

4 | Chicken tenders, from the deli |

3/4 cup | Jarred pesto |
4 | Slices ciabatta bread or any other crusty Italian bread, toasted |
4 | Beefsteak tomato slices, cut about 1/4 inch thick |
4 | Fresh mozzarella cheese slices cut 1/4 inch thick |
3 Tbsp. | Finely chopped basil leaves |
Directions
Spread 1 tablespoon pesto on a bread slice.
Top with one tomato slice and one Mozzarella slice.
Cut one chicken tender into thin slices; arrange over sandwich. Repeat to make all sandwiches.
Top each sandwich with 1 tablespoon pesto. Sprinkle with basil, dividing equally.
Serve warm.
