Meatball Margherita Pizza
Add an unexpected, yet delicious ingredient to your favorite Margherita pizza recipe by topping it with meatballs from the deli.
Ingredients

12 oz. | Meatballs, from the deli, cut in half |

1 | Refrigerated thin crust pie crust |
1 cup | Pizza sauce |
2 cups | Shredded mozzarella cheese |
6 slices | Fresh mozzarella, sliced thin |
Add | Fresh basil leaves |
Add | Italian seasoning or pizza seasoning |
Directions
Preheat oven as directed on pizza crust. Drizzle cookie sheet with olive oil then press crust out until thin.
Bake for about 5 minutes then remove to add rest of ingredients.
First add pizza sauce and spread to cover, and then sprinkle with seasoning. Using about 1 cup of the mozzarella, sprinkle over the sauce.
Place the meatballs cut side down on top along with the mozzarella slices. Lay whole basil leaves along the top and finish with a sprinkle of the remaining cheese.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
Let rest for 5 minutes or so, cut pizza into squares and serve.
