Layered Buffalo Chicken Salad

This layered buffalo chicken salad recipe blends hot sauce and ranch dressing for a tasty dressing over boneless wings, hot and fresh from the deli, with yummy salad fixings.


1 lb.

Boneless wings, from the deli, Original or Buffalo

1 head

Romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup

Prepared ranch style salad dressing

2 Tbsp.

Louisiana-style hot sauce

3 stalks

Celery, thinly sliced

1 pint

Grape or cherry tomatoes sliced in half


English cucumber, peeled, sliced and diced

1/2 cup

Blue cheese, crumbled


  1. Place the chopped romaine in a medium size bowl. Mix the ranch dressing with the hot sauce in a small bowl with a small whisk.

  2. Pour half of the dressing over the romaine. Toss with salad tongs. Remove romaine and place in the bottom of glass bowl.

  3. Layer on top the chopped celery, then the tomatoes, chopped cucumber and the blue cheese crumbles.

  4. Place boneless wings on top of the layered salad.

  5. Drizzle the remaining dressing on top and serve.
