Hollywood Chicken Wrappers

Fun and easy spring rolls begin with rotisserie chicken and veggies. This Hollywood wrappers recipe is the perfect appetizer for entertaining.


1 1/2 cups

Rotisserie chicken, from the deli, shredded

1 1/2 Tbsp.

Ginger, peeled and finely minced

1 tsp.

Garlic, peeled and minced

2 Tbsp.

Mushroom, sliced

2 Tbsp.

Carrots, minced

2 Tbsp.

Red bell pepper, minced

2 Tbsp.

Scallions, sliced

4 Tbsp.

Vermicelli, precooked

4 Tbsp.

Hoisin sauce

2 Tbsp.

Cilantro, chopped

Spring roll wrappers


  1. Remove chicken from bone. If chicken is cold, place on pan and heat in preheated 350 degree oven for 5-7 minutes. Mix chicken with other ingredients until well coated.

  2. To assemble, place 2 heaping tablespoons of chicken mixture across center of 1 spring roll wrapper.

  3. Fold left, right and bottom sides over filling, then roll up. Seal edges with egg wash or water.

  4. In preheated deep fryer, cook spring roll at 350° Fahrenheit until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove from fryer and drain on a paper towel.

  5. Cut in half and place on serving plate.

  6. Garnish with chopped scallions. Serve with dipping sauces: sweet and sour, sesame-ginger, or honey soy.
