Ham and Beans
Perfect recipe for staying warm during the blustery fall game day with smoked ham slowly cooked with navy beans in a rich brown sugar sauce with hints of savory carrot and onion.

1 lb. | Ham lunchmeat, thick sliced, cubed |
---|---|
2, 16 oz. cans | Navy beans, drained |
1/4 cup | Brown sugar |
2 tsp. | Ketchup |
1 tsp. | Mustard |
1/3 cup | Yellow onion, diced |
1/4 cup | Carrot, diced |
Add | Salt and black pepper to taste |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and heat on high for one hour. Turn heat to low and cook an additional two hours.
Serve with a side of warm cornbread.
