Double Decker Coney

A variation of the Coney Island double decker hot dog featuring tasty chicken tenders. Top off the recipe with chili, onion and shredded American cheese.



Chicken tenders, from the deli


Hot dog bun

1/4 cup

Chili, commercially prepared, heated

1/4 cup

American cheese, shredded

1/4 cup

Onion, minced


  1. Preheat oven to 425°Fahrenheit. Place tenders on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes, turning tenders over halfway through heating time.

  2. Open hot dog bun to lie flat and place on plate. Spoon heated chili over bun. Top with tenders, cheese and onions.

  3. Tip: To heat tenders in microwave, place in single layer on microwave-safe plate. Heat, uncovered, on HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, turning tenders and rotating plate halfway through heating time.
