Slow Cooker Chicken & French Onion Dip

Ingredients

Serves4
2 cups

Rotisserie chicken, from the deli, chopped

1 tsp.

Butter

1 1/2

Sweet onions, sliced thin

1 1/2 cups

Half and half

1/2 cup

Water

1 - 1oz. Packet

Onion soup & dip seasoning

12 oz.

Swiss cheese

Assorted

Vegetables and crusty bread, as necessary to use as a dip

Directions

  1. Butter the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until the seasoning is dissolved.

  2. Turn the slow cooker on high and cook for at least 1 hour or until the cheese is melted and the onions are soft. Open the lid and stir until all the mixture is evenly combined.

  3. Pour into a serving dish and serve with cut vegetables and crusty bread.
