2 Tbsp. | Olive oil |
1 | Shallot, finely chopped |
2 cloves | Garlic, finely minced |
1 tsp. | Fresh sage, finely chopped |
1/4 cup | Fresh parsley, chopped |
1/4 cup | Fresh basil, chopped |
1 cup | Chicken broth |

Directions
In a large skillet, sauté the olive oil, shallots and garlic over medium heat until translucent, about 2 - 3 minutes.
Add in the chicken tenders and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
Add in the chicken broth, lemon juice, sage, parsley and basil. Simmer for 8 minutes, turning the chicken over half way through.
Remove the chicken from the pan and place on a platter.
Add the butter into the skillet and simmer for an additional minute. The sauce should reduce by half of its original volume.
Pour the sauce over the chicken. Top with parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley.
