Pizza Burgers

Pepperoni, ground beef, mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce baked atop toasted hamburger buns. This recipe is quick and easy.


1/2 lb.

Pepperoni, from the deli, sliced

1 lb.

Beef, ground


Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup

Mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 Tbsp.

Butter, melted


Hamburger buns

1/2 cup

Pizza sauce


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400° Fahrenheit.

  2. Chop 1/2 of pepperoni into small dices. Save the remaining slices for later use.

  3. In a mixing bowl blend together the salt, pepper, chopped pepperoni and ground beef.

  4. Form the ground beef into patties.

  5. Using a hot skillet or sauté pan, sear the patties on medium-high for 2 minutes per side.

  6. Place the burgers on a cookie sheet and top with cheese and pepperoni slices. Bake in the oven for 8 - 10 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and add a spoonful of pizza sauce on top. Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
